This volume also reveals the musical DNA behind Piazzolla's drumming style: influences from Astor Piazzolla's electronic octet, jazz language, funk textures, Tony Williams concepts, paradiddles, orchestration design, and bass drum/ride interactions—all adapted to tango while remaining faithful to its acoustic tradition and ensemble balance.
