Felix loved his bright new nails. But what would everyone else think?
When Felix paints a picture at school, he enjoys himself so much that he dabs colors on his fingernails too. But he instantly feels anxious about how his classmates and teacher will react, especially since a special guest is coming to their classroom. When his friends assure him that fingernails can be a beautiful canvas for artistic expression, Felix shares his creations with pride--including with the visiting firefighter, who has a creative surprise of his own.
From a Stonewall Honor-winning author, Felix Finds His Polish explores themes of self-expression and creativity. An activity in the back of the book lets all kids explore painting their nails!
