Christ the Center of Biblical Time

The Unity and Logic of the Bible’s Story

About this book

This is a new kind of biblical theology that explains why, when, and how Christ came. The author combines and develops chiastic and cyclical readings of the biblical story to show that the whole Old Testament is leading its readers to anticipate the coming of Christ at the time and in the manner he came. Other biblical theologies show how certain themes develop from the Old Testament and into the New, but this one shows the narrowing focus of the Old Testament on one man, with the right genealogy, who came at the right time, and who fulfilled the uncompleted Old Testament storyline in the right way.
