One Life. One Mission. One Faithful Walk with God.
In the military, a roadmarch requires endurance, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the mission. The Christian life is no different.
In One Life Under God - Back to Faith: A Daily Roadmarch, retired United States Army Colonel Chels Chae invites readers to develop a disciplined and resilient walk with God through a structured daily devotional journey. Drawing from more than 30 years of military leadership and decades of ministry mentorship, Chae presents faith not as a momentary inspiration but as a daily commitment to trust, obedience, and spiritual growth.
Designed especially for active duty service members, veterans, and leaders, this 365-day devotional equips readers to build a consistent spiritual rhythm that strengthens faith and character.
Each daily "roadmarch" includes:
Scripture—a guided reading plan that leads readers through the entire Bible in one year
Observation—thoughtful insights drawn from Scripture and decades of leadership experience
Application—practical steps for living out God's Word in everyday life
Prayer—focused prompts to help develop a deeper and more consistent prayer life
Using the proven S.O.A.P. framework (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer), this devotional helps believers move beyond simply reading the Bible to actively living its truth.
Whether you are serving in uniform, leading in your community, or seeking a stronger and more disciplined faith, One Life Under God provides the structure and encouragement needed to stay faithful for the long march of life.
