The Fourth Edition In addition to a few other theological changes for the better, this edition features a groundbreaking shift in the author's understanding of baptism. By connecting Paul's words to the Corinthians ("into Christ's name") directly to the definitive baptism of Rom 6 ("into Christ Jesus"), this edition reveals an apostolic view of Christian identity according to Paul's gospel of God.
