Cybersecurity and Traceability in Factory 4.0 highlights the challenges associated with the digitalization of production sites. However, there are practical approaches that enable manufacturers to navigate this transition in a way that is overall beneficial to their business.
Using the specific example of blockchain, one of the key components of Industry 4.0, this book illustrates its specific application in implementing traceability to build trust between the factory, its suppliers and its customers, while preserving the confidentiality of the third parties involved.
