Inspire a sense of wonder in the night sky with this incredible collection of 15 folk tales for children, beautifully illustrated in full-colour by Gaby Verdooren.
Throughout history and around the world, people have looked up at the night sky and found beauty and inspiration in its inky depths. This book draws together folk tales from different cultures and their mythologies surrounding the birth of stars, the cycles of the moon, and the mysteries of the Milky Way. Readers can join three villagers as they attempt to bury the moon for everlasting daylight, witness a sea monster's battle with the Evening Star, and much more in this enchanting anthology.
Storytellers have always taken inspiration from the heavenly bodies and their movements - now a new generation of children can find meaning in the stars.
