This Master Thesis aims at the development of a scalable business concept and go-to-market strategy for Tombili, an AI-based proactive animal health monitoring application. The study targets the interpretation gap, where pet owners may possess behavioral data from pet trackers but lack the clinical expertise to recognize subtle symptoms, especially in cats. A sequential mixed-methods approach is adopted, first validating the business model through expert interviews with both veterinarians and business mentors, then utilizing quantitative user testing with pet owners in California and the DACH region. Results revealed that technical accuracy is not a substitute for professional trust-anchoring; a Vet-Certified badge and hybrid-care link with tele-veterinarian services are critical for early adoption. Financial simulations show that a freemium model with a B2B2C partnership strategy can achieve a positive contribution margin by leveraging veterinarian trust to minimize customer acquisition costs. The study's conclusion calls for adaptability in the face of different regional regulatory environments, requiring a balance between the rapid innovation focus of the United States and the stringent data privacy and professional standards of the German market. The research provides a strategic roadmap for transforming monitoring data into a trustworthy and sustainable health ecosystem.
