The 1st Asian Biomaterials Congress is the first integrated meeting on Asian biomaterials and was held in Tsukuba from 6 - 8 December 2007. It provides an overview of the recent advances of metallic, ceramic and polymeric materials, their composites, biomechanics, and bio-nanotechnology. It also includes the applications of biomaterials, including implantable medical devices, tissue engineering and drug delivery systems.
