He has worked as a writer, editor, translator and filmmaker in Quebec and in Ontario. D'Alfonso identifies as a bilingual writer, but he also speaks and writes in Italian. And he has translated works from French and Italian into English, and from English into French. Each contributor to this volume is a witness to D'Alfonso's literary accomplishments.
