ILLUSTRATIVE CASE REPORTS

Chapters 1 through 6 have reviewed the key features of the WISC‐V Integrated and how to administer, score, and interpret the test. This chapter illustrates use of the WISC‐V Integrated in a comprehensive battery through case reports for two children referred for psychological evaluations. The first case report presents the results of Jillian R., a 10‐year‐old female referred for an evaluation for ADHD. The second case report presents results for Robert J., a 9‐year‐old male referred for testing because of reading problems.

These case reports demonstrate the integration of various aspects of the child’s history and interview data, behavioral observations, and other tests. The reports also illustrate important information to include in each section and translation of results into recommendations. For both cases, identifying information has been altered to protect confidentiality.
