Aram Mattioli racconta in modo vivido il lungo e violento processo di colonizzazione messo in atto dai coloni bianchi contro i nativi indiani, interpretando gli eventi globali sullo sfondo dei fenomeni centrali, dal Settecento alla prima decade del Novecento.
