About This Book

Hudes and McKeown’s musical Miss You Like Hell will have its New York premiere at The Public Theater in March 2018. (Off-Broadway). The musical had its world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse in the fall of 2016 (California).

Water by the Spoonful is the second part of her critically-acclaimed three-play cycle, which also includes Elliot, A Soldier’s Fugue and The Happiest Song Plays Last.

She was named a Fellow by United Stated Artists in 2010.

She wrote the children’s book In My Neighborhood, published in 2010.

Hudes is a Playwright in Residence at Signature Theatre in New York

Profile Theatre in Portland, OR dedicated their entire 2017 season to her work

She is a Distinguished Professor at Wesleyan University

Erin McKeown is an American multi-instrumentalist and folk-rock singer-songwriter.

McKeown performs regularly, spending much of her time touring throughout the world with artists such as Ani DiFranco, Josh Ritter, the Indigo Girls, Martin Sexton, Andrew Bird, Thea Gilmore, Melissa Ferrick, Allison Miller, and others.
