Delivered

Stand in deliverance,

For the Lord has heard your cry.

For he is a merciful God,

And will the tears from our eyes.

No misconception of the Lord’s grace,

For he will be there with you at your resting place.

Make a joyous cry,

For the Lord is full of bounty,

And he shares all his glory with us.

God in You Is Life for Me

God spoke and said,

Be fruitful and multiply,

I will never leave you nor forsake you,

For I am Yahweh Nissi,

I will protect you from harm,

I am Yahweh Yireh,

I will supply your every need,

I am Yahweh Shalom,

I will bring you spiritual peace in midst of a storm.

For I am the air of life you breathe each day,

Everything that is in me is in you,

And without me there is no you.

I am the way, the beginning, the end, the truth, and the light,

And when you choose me, you choose to live.

Nights with God by My Side

The darkness so calm and so peaceful,

The wind blows just enough for tree branches to tap your windows.

The night of day,

To me it seems that way God is there beside me.

To fear,

I cannot fear,

The dark can’t touch me.

There is a light illuminating around me,

I see no darkness,

What is to fear?

There is nothing to fear my soul belong to God.

I feel like the moon smiling and full of light,

With the scattered stars around me,

To guard me through the night.

How sacred it is to feel love in the darkest hours of night,

To turn on a light to see through the night,

Would only show I am frightened.

To feel peace in your sleep has such a mental toll,

How much better and gracefully your sunlit day will go.

Oh!

How I see through the night,

Oh!

How I feel no frights,

For God is by my side.
