Citing religious texts

Religious texts differ from traditional books and academic journals. They are well known throughout the world and have been published numerous times and translated in multiple languages. Such citations do not require an author and are so well known that in-text citations are superfluous.

Based on the APA style guide, we recommend you include the following:

  • Title (Version)
  • The Bible (King James Version)
